What is Fluorosilicone?

While substantially more expensive than silicone, fluorosilicone is engineered for specialized applications demanding superior resistance to oxidizing chemicals, plus aromatic and chlorinated solvents. What are the Disadvantages of Using Fluorosilicone?
Fluorosilicone is not recommended for use with brake fluids, hydrazine, or ketones, which generally attack it. Additionally, fluorosilicone offers lower high-heat resistance compared to standard silicone and should not be confused with it in this regard.
