What is Buna-N (Nitrile)?
Nitrile (Buna-N) is a versatile oil-resistant polymer offering good resistance to solvents, oils, water, and hydraulic fluids, alongside good compression set, abrasion resistance, and tensile strength. Nitrile should not be used with highly polar solvents like acetone and MEK, ozone, chlorinated hydrocarbons, or nitro hydrocarbons.
